The villa itself is a complex of several agricultural buildings that border a central main residence. Today the complex of Villa Sobrano comprises a courtyard, an entrance garden, the Villa’s main garden, a private chapel and a fortress erected in the 13th century known as the 'Castello'. Built in the 19th century, the villa reflects a design commonly used by local landowners for their country residences. It is divided into four double rooms and two suites, each with its own sitting room. All the rooms are entirely furnished with period pieces, and include private bathrooms and every modern convenience. The villa also contains a living and dining areas. The lower section of the villa offers access to an interesting, 50-metre long gallery known as the "bottaia", that houses a series of ancient oak barrels for storing and ageing wine. The gallery leads to the cellars beneath the villa where guests can taste the wines produced on the Villa Sobrano estate. Guests at Villa Sobrano have a variety of activities available to them, from simple walks in the countryside to horseback riding, and mountain biking to gourmet excursions, that feature cooking lessons at the prestigious Perugia Cordon Bleu academy.
