Friendly, relaxed, family owned bed and breakfast in the beautiful white village (pueblo blanco) of El Gastor, near Ronda, in the heart of rural Andalucia, southern Spain.

The guesthouse is situated on the edge of the village opposite a shady pine forest. Here we offer stylish accommodation in two superior double rooms with en-suite facilities and also a family suite consisting of two adjoining rooms (one twin and one double) with private shower. All our rooms can accommodate an extra single bed or cot if required.

There is satellite TV in the comfy lounge and a sunny roof terrace with stunning views over the village and surrounding countryside where you can relax, read a book, sip a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning view. We also have wifi and a laptop for guests to use free of charge.

We offer an extensive breakfast buffet included in the cost. Laundry and packed lunches can be supplied for a small charge.

El Gastor has over a dozen bars and restaurants, all within in easy walking distance of the guesthouse.

There is ample free parking directly outside the house.

All in all, our bed and breakfast is in a perfect holiday area for those who wish to experience the real Spain and enjoy its people and the Andalucian way of life.

Our bed and breakfast is the perfect base for you to enjoy the stunning scenery of the nearby Grazalema Natural Park, the Serranía de Ronda and the Sierra de las Nieves. There are numerous outdoor activities available close to our B&B including horse riding, mountain biking, walking and hiking, rock climbing, canyoning and even paragliding (the World Championships took place a few years ago in nearby Algodonales). The village itself is situated just above the shores of Lake Zahara which is popular for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. You could not choose a more central location to enjoy sightseeing in the great Andalucian cities of Ronda, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Granada, Cordoba and, one of our personal favourites, the little known Osuna. Our B&B is also not too far away from the coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol and the unspoilt Costa de la Luz on the Atlantic. The B&B is 20 minutes from the historic town of Ronda, 1 hour from Seville and Jerez, 90 minutes from Cadiz, Malaga and Marbella and 2 hours from Tarifa, Gibraltar, Granada and Cordoba. Closer to hand (and all worth a visit) are the neighbouring white villages of Zahara de la Sierra, Setenil, Grazalema and Arcos de la Frontera - to name nut a few. El Gastor is known as the "balcony of the white villages" (or balcon de los pueblos blancos), It is a charming and beautiful Andalucian mountain village with meandering cobbled streets, charming flower-decked whitewashed houses and a typical village square. This traditional, yet lively village, has everything you could want - several "sell all" shops, butchers, a baker, fish mongers, 3 banks, a post office, a pharmacy, 24 hour medical centre and countless tapas bars. The Thursday morning street market sells everything from fruit to furniture.
