The residence, which contains Suite Oriani, is in Art-Nouveau style; it was built in 1929 by Furino Architect, a man of a singular artistic sensitivity. He was prone to the complex and innovative stylistic European "Art Nouveau" movement; so he decided to surround the building with a cordon of frescoes representing winged horses, visible in part up to now. To its realization the architect decided to involve the Art Deco decorator Duilio Cambellotti, who boasts some effigies among his most important works on the "Altare della Patria" in Piazza Venezia and the large windows in the Casina delle Civette in Villa Torlonia in Rome.
Suite Oriani is a historical residence, recently restored, immersed in the Parioli stillness and greenness. Historically a "diplomatic" and exclusive district in Rome (in fact the most important countries in the world have here their consular branches), today is also putting on the look of a financial centre and of the "new dolce vita", thanks to the opening of the "Parco della Musica" Auditorium, Renzo Piano's work, in 2002. Now one of the most intense musical seasons in the world is taking place in it. The district is perfectly connected to the rest of the city: the historical centre inside the walls can be reached by only one underground stop or by a pleasant walk through Villa Borghese.

Suite Oriani is situated in a good position in one of the most beautiful residential areas in the centre of Rome, the hilly Parioli - Villa Borghese district. This area is famous for its exclusiveness and elegance, thanks to the presence of residences and palaces of the end of '800 and the beginning of '900; it is also famous because it is rich in gardens and parks which make it the one with a lot of greenness in the capital.
